There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

The American backed "crook" Batista who was overthrown by Castro, fled to USA by raiding the Cuba Central Bank"s reserves of $300 million dollars. Needless to say, millions of dollars worth of priceless arts from the nations museum. He killed thousands of Cubans with the tacit support of the US govt. And his dreadful atrocities were later confirmed by US President JFK himself.And, here you are talking complete bullshit from your backside.

I think there are some points you are missing.
Cuba's revolution in 1959 addressed the poor wealth and political repression they already had,so from that time, that they could get fair distribution of goods, services and work towards eradicating extreme poverty. They have brilliant pharmaceuticals worldwide. They achieved 100% literacy long time ago and have a health System which is the envy of many. The country itself was never an economic powers store! Fidel Castro did not contribute much to the problems at the heart of the Cuban development model ? In 1958, it was Batista dictatorship, and half of Cuba's children did not attend school ? Through Castro in 1961, he made them the highest educated to this day.

Cuba also restructured their entire agricultural program organically and made a success of it. I don't see any mention of Battista who had Americans messing up the place? 50+ years of inhumane US embargo? Cuba has survived in spite of all this. Yes they have poverty but you don't mention that they couldn't generate it due to the embargo. They even had Venezuela oil to work with. When they were trying to do so with Russia, look where it ended up. No man is an island so let's bring it home a little by starting with health, education and poverty in Ghana.
Hopefully they can all move up from now with the changes aided by Obama.
