There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

The founder and presidential candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, has launched blistering attacks on President Mahama and his wealthy brother, Ibrahim Mahama, accusing them of stealing.

Some online portals recently reported that the multi-millionaire had purchased a 20-million dollar jet for his brother, President Mahama.

However speaking to traders at Kantamanto on Thursday as part of her Greater Accra campaign tour, the former First Lady questioned how the businessman got the money to buy a jet for his brother when he is unable to repay a bank loan.

“What sort of lie is this? How come your brother [Ibrahim Mahama] who was unable to pay a bank loan, managed to get 20 million dollars to buy a plane for you?. It means that while you are stealing, your brother is also stealing, your family is stealing , your friends are also stealing , ” Mrs Rawlings fired.

"So what should Ghanaians do? Let’s vote them out," she charged

Above all, I love the fact with our hospitals as "death transit camps"(apologies to Mr Rawlings), you were able to find money to bribe chiefs with expensive SUVs and other expensive vehicles for the ladies.

Mr. Mahama, remember Kutu Achampong's "fa wo to begye Golf"? Rawlings didn't like it so he killed him. You know somethig, I think Rawlings likes you reason he has arrested you tie you to the stakes. Count your self blessed and luky, as the Abongo boys has it cool on you.

A recent Western intelligence compiled for multi national companies willing to do business in Africa, has named President Uhuru Kenyatta as the most peaceful President in Africa.

On the contrary, the report rated Ghana’s President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress ( NDC ) as the most Dangerous President in Africa, whose demeanour, utterances and behavior has the potential of instigating violence in the political conflict in the country
According to the report, John Mahama wanted to incite the supporters of his party for violence in their 2012 election aftermath to legitimize his stay in office by hook or crook but upon all his attempt to plunge the country into chaos because he had all the security forces in his control, the humble and peaceful nature of the main contender and opposition leader of New Patriotic Party NPP Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo prevented that glooming violent clash in Ghana. Mr. Akufo Addo is a lawyer, a politician and a freedom fighter in the New Patriotic Party have served as the Presidential candidate of the NPP party but lost two election between 2008 and 2012 Presidential elections .

All the elections were won narrowly by the NDC party now led by John Mahama who had been President of Ghana since 7th January 2012 after taking over from his boss late President Mills.
Even though the results of the 2012 election was contested in court found to have been rigged but the main opposition leader Akufo Addo never pushed his supporters to the path of bloodshed.
The 174 page of the report, which is very detailed on current affairs on the Africa continent also mentioned the leader of Ivory Coast Alhassan Quattara as the second most peaceful President in Africa .The report states that, even though Ivory Coast, a former French colony is a volatile democracy but the 74 years old Quattara has been able to keep his country very peaceful and has been ranged the second most peaceful President on the African continent.
On the contrary the report raised a red flag about the threats and conflict disposition of the current heads of states of Ghana, Congo, Egypt, South Africa, Sudan, Mali, Central African Republic and Togo
In the case of Ghana the report states that, even though Ghana is more stable democracy in Africa with very transparent democratic institutions but the President of the ruling party the National Democratic Congress Mr. John Mahama is very aggressive, divisive, intolerant and largely perceive as violent and tribalistic .

The report states that, Mr. John Mahama’s posture and political demeanour poses a big threat to the peace, security and stability of the country ( the forbearers of democracy in Africa )
The report accused Mr. John Mahama of provoking unrest and instructing the security forces under his control to beat peaceful demonstrators of the main opposition party for an obvious rig of the 2012 election and another attempt of Mr. John Mahama and the Electoral Commission of the country of a grand scheme and plot to once again rig the upcoming election in December

“He provokes the security forces as a way of intimidating and suppressing the opposition parties in order to still stay in office upon the massive hardships and agonies he has put the people of the country into by manipulating the electoral commission and the security forces to rig the upcoming election in his favour and such tactics is very dangerous, irresponsible and life threatening to the peaceful coexistence of the country”
He has instigated the security forces to perpetuate violence on the people on several occasions which led to the lose of 35 lives and one man blinMr.John Mahama therefore has the penchant of not accepting over 98% of the upcoming election result should he genuinely lose the election in December 7th this year which is a recipe for chaos in that country Ghana …
