  Nana Akuffo Addo did not defend the nation against the claims made by SGS Bank because he was at that time negotiating the leasehold of His father's Ringway Hotel plot with the SGS Bank. The money SGS Bank got was used to paid Nana Addo for the leasehold of 25 years.
