  Franklin is right, except the issue of 'most of the teachers are ill-equipped and are the worst performers in school, who took teaching as a last option'. It is true that these so called Tech Univ are never well resourced. Even as Polytechnics, they were all training grammar type students, with Business related courses the most. So how is govt going to find the money to resource them. Currently, the teachers there are being harassed to get their PhDs or they quit. Is it PhD that we need for the Tech Universities in the interim? Forensic audit of their certificates have been lined up. But where are the funds to encourage them to go for better training? Franklin, however, goofed about the worthlessness of the Tech Univ teachers. Most of them have the second Degree in critical areas. Lots of them have professional qualifications. We live to see.

  We need to educate students to leverage the new Internet technology to drive the industrial and agricultural Revolution of Ghana and Africa. Most of the teachers do not know that and if they know they do not know how to divorce themselves from the discredited syllabus of antiquity and to join the new viral Internet education technology. Possibly, they think they have not the FUND. That is half truth. The will power for change for the new technology is not on the ground.

  There is a bigger fundamental problem than funding. All the Polytechnics as are now are highly understaffed in qualified lecturers in the area of applied sciences. Even the universities are struggling to get qualified staff in these areas. So assuming government is able to disburse the needed money to the Polytechnics how are they going to deliver the mandate?
  Most of the lecturers in Polytechnics now are in the social sciences area.
  Instead of government rushing to convert all these Polytechnics to universities they should have spelt out the modalities and criteria for conversion and allow each polytechnic to work towards improving it's human and physical resources. Once they are ready they can then apply to NAB for conversion to technical university

  Bravoo Mahama and NDC and their motivation of the technical spirit brought into the Ghana Education Service, a movee which is over due considering what Technical education brings to lives in all developed economies. Singapore relied on technical and secience education, and today they are far in development.
  
  All we need to realise is that there is a need to start from somwhere, and that is what Mahama's government and the nation had started with the technical issue now. People are fun of criticing than providing solutions, a character which is linked more to most of the village educated Ghanaians, who always have something negative to say about any good initiaves.
  
  They, IMANI have started teaching their village people what to do. IMANI folks should understand we don't belong to their village mentality oriented blame game and criticise and never initiate any progressive thing.
  
  Our technical education has been in problem for too long bcos no politician has interest in that field since they all go for economics, law, accountancy, finance, medicine etc. Private university colleges are many but only few [4 ]are technical related if l am not mistaken. Where are the IMANI boys to seek the welfare of GAHANA in this area?.
  
  These fools wake up only to criticise when someone initiates an idea which could not be solved in one day and yet it is a good thing then they come out to criticise and behave like they have alternatives.
  
  IMANI should stop their village approach of handling national matters and be more be civilised in cooperating with the areas responsible and encourage than discouraging with the devilish wish of failure.

  QUESTIONS THAT ARISES IN THE MINDS OF ALL THINKING PEOPLE ARE THE FOLLOWING:
  
  -WHO ARE THE TEACHERS, LECTURERS, PROFESSORS AND INSTRUCTORS WHO HAVE BEEN APPPOINTED TO TEACH AT THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITIES.
  
  ARE THEY STILL THE OLD INSTRUCTORSAND TEACHERS WITH DIPLOMA DEGREES WHO HAVE NOW BEEN APPOINTED TO TURN THE TECHNICAL ÚNIVERSITIES.
  
  WERE THE LABORATORIES AND TECHNICAL
  WORSHOPS AT THE OLD INSTITUTIONS FULLY EQUIPPED AND FURNISHED
  BEFORE THEY WERE INAUGURATED.
  
  LASTLY, WHY HAVE THE OLD THREE PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES STILKL FAILED TO PRODUCE TECHNOLOGICAL AND INNOVATIVE GRADUATES
  AND CAPABLE TO BUILD MIDDLE LEVEL DYNAMIC INDUSTRIES TO ACCELERATE ECONOMIC GROWTH IN THE COUNTRY.
  WITHOUT INNOVATIVE AND TECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS, TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW AND QUALITY SKILLED WORKFORCE,THIS WILL ONLY PROVE TO BE AN ILLUSION IN THE 21st CENTURY.
  
  IF, THE NEWLY CREATED TECHNICAL UNIVERSITIES CANNOT DELIVER, HAVE THE So CALLED NOISY EDUCATED WITH BIG DEGREES AND PHD TITLES BEEN IN THE POSITION FOR THE PAST FIFTY(50) TO PROPEL GROWTH IN THE COUNTRY.
  
  WHAT HAS THIS NOISY FOLK CONTRIBUTED TOWARDS THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF GHANA.
  
  HE HAS ONLY CRITICISED AND PREACHED FOR THE PAST TWENTY(20)YEARS WITHOUT ANY REASONABLE PRODUCTIVITY,
  
  IS HE NOT A SHAMEFUL AND DISGRACEFUL PERSON IN GHANA.
  
  DEEDS BUT NOT WORDS.
