  The search for jobs should not be used as an excuse for regime change. The Western countries encouraged the so called Arab Spring to overthrow Governments that they themselves had installed in the first place. The devastating effects of the Arab Spring are there for all to see. Egypt is worse off, 9 years after the Arab Spring, Tunisia is still reeling and needs financial support from Qatter to survive. Libya is in the abyss and Syria in turmoil. The loads of unwanted Arab refugees running away from political instability sparked by the Arab Spring are overwhelming the Western countries that supported the uprisings. The political vacuum created in Syria, Libya, and other Middle Eastern countries finally led to the creation of the murderous Islamic State terrorist group whose activities are felt as far as West Africa in counties like Nigeria, Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger. It is only God and the positive neutrality and stable system in Ghana that has prevented the Islamists from visiting Ghana with their brand of terror. Unemployment can never be tackled by a fiat nor regime change, history has shown that such populist approaches cannot be sustained in the face of global economic crisis. Russia would still be existing if mass working classes were sustainable. It should be a partnership between Government and private sector to grow the economy which includes massive investment in infrastructure. Any party that seeks to make political capital of genuine concerns of unemployed youth with unrealistic jobs promises would be risking plunging the whole country into total calamity. Broken and unrealizable promises have much the same or worse consequences as the lack of jobs.
