Several international and regional observer missions have pitched camp in poling stations across the country,to keep a keen eye for a free, transparent and credible polls in Ghana.
Head of the Commonwealth Observer Mission in Ghana, Thabo Mbeki and his team of officials who are monitoring the crucial polls have visited a number of centres to take stock of the process so far.
Although stakes are high in this elections, voting process since morning is sailing smoothly in all parts of the country with few incidence recorded.
Meanwhile Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) has also deployed about 8,000 observers to monitor the electoral process across the country.
