Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo got a rousing welcome as he stormed the Rock of Ages polling station B at Kyebi in the Eastern Region to cast his vote in the ongoing general election.
The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was ably accompanied by his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo and his daughters. Hon. Samuel Akyea the MP for Abuakwa south constituency, was also spotted at the polling station.
Crowds that had gathered to cast their ballot cheered on the aspiring presidential couple and his family, chanting the NPP’s message of change as he was ushered in and taken through the voting formalities.
In an address to the media after he had casted his vote, Nana Addo commended the Electoral Commission for a good work done with regard to the entire electoral process and urged Ghanaians, to safeguard the peace the country is currently enjoying.
