According to the Supreme Court elections are won and lost at the polling station not at the EC collation centre. Besides the Regional Director of EC in Ash anti says not a single polling station agent or presiding officer report over voting. Your mind is playing tricks on you, Kofi.   Charlotte Osei who said that election will be declared in 48hrs after poll closes is now extending it to 72hrs.
  Nations have been ruined because defeated candidates wants to stay in power with a come what may attitudes.

  The warning to Koku Anyidoho is he should watch his words carefully. We have taken note of his attempt to incite the security agencies to subvert the results of the people when Mahama has clearly lost the elections.
  He must be careful because Ghana does not belong to the NDC just as Ghana does not belong to the NPP.
  The masses have spoken, Ghanaians have spoken and the resolute message of Ghanaians is John Dramani Mahama must step aside.

  I am just confused with all these. If there were names precollected during voting registration, which means each poll will have the exact number of lists in accordance with the ballots, how can there be an over-voting at any poll? If this is the reason, then it simply means that they issued extra ballots to people to cast more votes and if that being a fact, why have extras if and only if you are aware that these ballots will never be more than the registered voters, and also the knowledge and the precise facts that each ballot cannot be wasted in any ways. If what I ask is true, then there should never be an over-voting because each registered citizen can only vote once. Unless the ballots were mishandled in a way that more were created and castes into the collection as to promote a falseful victor.

  Why shd the NDC complain about over voting as an electoral issue?. They had argued in court 4-yrs ago that it would be unethical to disenfranchise genuine voters on account of over voting,especially if such over voting is not detected and verified at the poling station. I heard NDC guys like Koku Anyidoho and others copiously defend the Afari Gyan dictum that elections are won at the polling station.
  Now that defeat is staring the NDC they find it convenient to complain about over voting by one-vote as justification for the EC to delay the announcement of the winner. For me that is a case of clutching at the straw. It's obvious former president Mahama has lost and he shd concede to cool down t he political temperature. Mahama shd not be a sore lose with poor democratic culture. I urge t he EC chair to be firm and decisive and proceed to declare Nana Addo President. If the NDC has issues,they shd meet us in Court. After all erudent Lawyer Adison will be glad to meet them in Court,this time on the winning side.

  From the way I see things, if free and fair elections are organised in GH. It will be difficult for NDC as a political party to win power. No wonder they targeted 1 million votes in Ashanti Region. This time NDC couldn't conive with the EC because of Polling station Pink Sheets availability. It became obvious that Volta Region recorded low turn out because NDC tricks couldn't materialise. I believe going forward the electoral commission of Ghana will take the needed steps to clean the register because it is over blotted with irrelevant names.
