The impartiality of the EC Chair lady has become so obvious that it must be untenable for her to continue after this election. She has taken so many controversial decision including vetting ballot papers certified at the polling station. Unconstitutionally abrogated power to herself to disqualify candidates and now needless making Ghana feel unstable with her self imposed standards of recounting and delaying results for 72 hours with no intelligent explanation. Her demeanour at the press conference was rather worrying looking as someone who has lost an election and exposing her bias. I do not think she is qualified with these flaws to continue, and has by her actions made her position untenable. She should either resign after the elections or be replaced by a more qualified and unbiased individual.

Well,that is what happens if your polling agents fail to do their job, they know what always happen in Kumasi to have enough and loyal people as polling agents but failed to do so, I don' think the over voting will be that large to overturn the results,if we lose we should just concede and regroup,think of what we did wrong and do the right thing next time,many factors led to this,we need to call spade a spade,with NPP Majority seat in the type of parliament we have,NDC president cannot rule effectively.

At the close of polling yesterday across Ghana at the over 270,000 polling stations, and after all the votes were tallied and counted and dully signed by all the representatives of the contesting political parties and the polling stations returning officers, were there any red flags raised as to whether any "overvoting" had occured at a particular polling station,and which was brought to the attention of the accredited political parties representatives present when the ballots were been counted??? And what were the actions and remedies taken at that particular so called
allegedly suspect over voted polling station instantly by the returning officer??? Now if nothing of the above instances were recorded yesterday then l humbly submit that this issue of over voting is merely a red herring raised by the EC after the fact, to willfully subvert the will of the majority of Ghanaians who yesterday voted overwhelmingly for CHANGE in favour Nana Addo and the victorious NPP. Such a perversion of our electoral and democratic dispensation must be resisted non violently on all fronts.

It's amazing that at election time many seem to lose common sense. If the EC does not respond to over voting in the NPP stronghold, what happens if the same issue is raised in the NDC strongholds. In case u have not noticed votes for voltage region has not come in yet. We who are abroad are being told Nana is wining at an unriggable rate, what is our worry if EC checks one area where an issue is raised? Prof Kwesi of USA like me, u didn't vote, let's support our country and party by encouraging them to be calm. We r not there so let's not stir up things from afar, the results won't affect us. But most importantly let's give ourselves the chance to think. The results have been collated in the most transparent manner and many NPP guys commented on it so why change ur tune now.
