Really? Not much different as NPP have a majority they will use the veto of parliament to appoint their own person. For fairness the EC post should be voted by all citizens or at district level. Otherwise, it's useless.

1. Charlotte Osei must not be allowed to toy with the peace of Ghana. Parliament should, by the first year, come out with procedures to stop such foolishness as Charlotte has exhibited these 18 months.

1.i No president should be allowed to toy with this sole prelogative to make such appointments as the EC chair. How can the person who is to oversee elections in the country be answerable only to the appointing president, as Charlotte has shown?

1.ii The same goes for the appointmnt of upreme Court Judges.

2. All provisions in our constitution that do not seem right for the country should be tackled by the end of the first year of this parliament.
