In Tamale hoodlums seized vehicles and other items on auction. Opposition members were maimed and even killed yet authorities pretended that never happened. A senior Police officer who put a price tag on a criminal at Tafo, a suburb of Kumasi was transferred. As a country we tag crime with political colours and we remain silent when the criminals appear to belong to our political party. It is wrong when people think this a pay back period. All criminals must face the law accordingly.

They have for a long time been saying that nana is a voilent person and becoming a president will compromise national security. With the intensity at which their communicators carried this message accross the country may even suggest that some of their support may want to carry out these attacks in NPP shirts in order to confirm their assertion. It may also be genuinely by NPP supporters. With the kind of politics we have in Ghana, any thing is possible so the police must investigate these allegations extensively.

Besides stirring up chaos in this peaceful country, the nation's progress would be hindered. The current government has put on record all the projects it has undertaken and this projects must be a source of ease for the incoming government to implement it's policies. In this sense, the incoming government and in general, Ghana, has so much to lose as far as development is concerned.
