The reality is that only a little fraction of footsoldiers would get some jobs from the party. Majority would continue in their misery after the euphoria because they simply don't have the skills and competences for the new opportunities. Politicians from both NPP and NDC simply exploited them.

Meaning after two terms a ruling Govt would be voted out because change will be the desire of most Ghanaians for others to come. What we don't want is reprisal attacks accompanying thieves change. The longest the NPP can hope to stay in power therefore is 8 years if they are able to fulfil their one million and one promises. NPP supporters should therefore know that what has happened to NDC awaits the party as early as in 4 years time if their promises are not fulfilled. Violence therefore should cease.

We were all there when NDC thugs killed two in Agbogbolishie after their 08 victory. No one was arrested, no one was prosecuted. And yet in Dunkwa, the alleged NPP man who Struck and killed the NDC guy, turned himself in. This is unprecedented. The NDC should be careful not to quickly cry wolf, deny their complicity in the violence, and believe in street justice and reprisals, at the expense of the rule of law.
