The Asantis/Akans have clearly shown that they cannot win any major political or field battle without the support of the great Fulani. In January 1824, a great Fulani Mallam Called Seiku Amadu of modern day Mali sent his soldiers with bows and arrows to support the Asantihene Osei Bonsu to defeat the British soldiers during the Nsamankow war in which Sir Charles MacCarthy was beheaded. Now in 2016, two Fulani people including Samira Bawumia and her brother Abu Ramadan have also played major roles to help the NPP (Asanti/Akan party) to defeat the ruling NDC.
However, these ingrates will soon start using their media outlets to vilify the Fulani in this country, referring to them as foreigners and what have you.
