Someone needs to tell Yamoah PRAKO to shut his snout or it would be forcely shut for him. I'm rather very disappointed in the Ashanti Region and Ghana for giving Maama the percentage he had. As if we are fools.

The main reason is that NPP is aware that NDC have been stealing the verdict of Ghanaians since 1992, and NPP got prepared very well to block all the loopholes NDC have been using to cheat and steal the verdict of Ghanaians. This is the main reason why NDC lost painfully and miserably.

I remember Sarpong saying he is winning by 70% but he got 15%. Please it's about time politicians took Ghanaians serious. You and yamin and the rest must stop this nonsense and look at your candidate who was running "A leadership of Appeasement". There is no way NDC was going to win the election when the president had no sensible message. If he had even won all the votes in Ashanti, he would have still lost.

The votes Mahama got in Ashanti Region was a direct reflection of his failed, incompetent and fantastically corrupt NDC gov't.
I don't know what the Ponkoh man means by hijacking of resources meant for their campaign, but if it was the "goodification" of the electorate in a wanton manner like there's no tomorrow, then I put it to the Ponkoh man he had absolutely no clue, none, not even one, not a clue, what time it was.
Mahama was not going to do well in all the 10 regions, and this was evident to even JSS students, with the exception of the criminally-minded sycophantic repugnant bootlickers he had surrounded himself with and were prepared to sing his praises(of what happened to inflation-unprecedented infrastructure, what happened to unemployment- unprecedented infrastructure singsong)in that exercise of crass mediocrity.
Now he should go into opposition and stop disturbing the ears of Ghanaians with their ugly noises.

Mahama got 591,000 votes at 23.48% whilst Nana got 1,620,000 at 75.78% of total votes in Ashanti. This Ponkor claims that whilst they were still aiming for 1,000,000 votes, even if Mahama had managed 28% of the votes in Ashanti (which would have come to a further 110,000 votes), they could havew forced a re-run. Mahama winning 110,000 m0re votes would presuppose that nana would lose 110,000 votes. Charelotte Ozsei announced that nana beat Mahama by about 1,000,000 votes. So how could Mamaha have forced are-run if the difference had come down by 220,000? But that is the reasoning of a one time Chief Executive officer in Mahama's incompetent government, and he calls himself a politician! A government of propaganda indeed!

This analysis is just too simple and very inaccurate. The truth is the NDC party's request for continuity (toaso) was not credible. Seriously, NDC lost touch with the electorate. NDC did not have a well coordinated development plan to address both the short term and long needs of the country. Merely building a few infrastructural projects at exorbitant costs were simply not enough. And when people complained they were insulted and made to look stupid. The president and his ministers are all guilty of this sad behavior. Arrogance, incompetence, and display of opulence with little or no respect for people with alternative ideas are the main reasons you lost the elections. No probity and accountability whatsoever which has been your mantra since the conception and birth of your party.
As a matter of fact, many people are now wondering if this party (NDC) ever truly won the previous elections. Therefore, the excuse that lack of resources in Ashanti region and voter apathy in the Volta region could be the reason for this gargantuan loss is neither here nor there.
