The NDC national campaign coordinator, Mr. Adamu Kotokoli, could partially be blamed for the humiliating defeat of the party, in which "the NPP trashed the ruling party by about one million votes and also won majority of the parliamentary seats", as a result of the incompetence of Mr. Kotokoli and the incompetence and corruption of Mr. Mahama himself and that of all the "babies with sharp teeth' he appointed.

However, the real reason for the party's "painful defeat" is their undemocratic ways that have largely been exposed by the NPP party, and was able to block most of the channels the Vanquished party had been using to rig the elections. The world has changed so much since 1992 and NDC must also change with it, and not continue to rely on rigged elections to rule Ghanaians.

Mahama should be blamed. He thought buying cars and houses to some people will win him the presidency at a time when ordinary people are suffering in the face of high electricity bills, mass unemployment, erratic power outage ...

Mahama should be blamed. He thought buying cars and houses to some people will win him the presidency at a time when ordinary people are suffering in the face of high electricity bills, mass unemployment, erratic power outages etc.

Arrogance also played a key role in NDC defeat because they thought being pompous and casting unrelenting insults to political opponents is the way forward.

Imagine how Mahama used "executive powers" to free the "Muntie 3" at the anger of most Ghanaians.
