My friend,nobody can arrest Woyome,the Appeal court ended that case long ago,he can no longer face any criminal prosecution,even the money he will have to pay on the terms of the Supreme Court,the court did not say he should pay with interest,change of government will not affect that case very much.
You don't need to be a lawyer to know that what that judge did or what the Chief Justice did by asking one judge to preside over a constitutional case was wrong,it was most outrageous thing ever happened in any part of the world,not even in a Taliban territory, I said it before and will say it again.

The effort of Martin Hamidu has paid fruitfully for Ghana. In the first place the timing of the pursuance of this case was a major contributing factor in Mahamah and NDC defeat in this election. It stripped naked the optimum corrupt nature of Mahamah and NDC. Ghanaians have shown their disdain for corruption . You can not create ,loot and share the national cake and think you can distribute money and items to sway the thinking of the populace. As more Ghanaians are having University education , they are becoming aware of issues and becoming wise. Watch out even if Rawlings come back, the fact that he took money from Sani Abacha will negate all his efforts to make any in roads in NDCs fortune.

That is taking too long. Waiting until after NPP takes over the wheel of Governance might create the impression that the verdict against Woyome has some political taint to it.

On the other hand, the Courts may be thinking an early verdict before Mahama leaves would offer Woyome the chance to be pardoned, or compensated by the exiting Executive.

All that the Citizens of Ghana want is a fair and just verdict and swift implementation of any associated penalty.

For what it is worth lawyers will be churning out few decided cases where judgement debt has emptied coffers of state governments. Then the I put it to you professionals with their perculiar wigs will swing into action.

If Justice Annin was wrong, that tells the lawman that there are flaws in all legal systems. Alfred Woyome is not a thief. Ghanaians must have this at the back of their minds. Even if a legal loophole is used to a person's benefit,it is the law. Nothing but the law was used. Alfred Woyome did not steal the money please. He used the law as he understood it. Mr Martin Amidu paid him part of this money and there was no gun to his head then!
