I think Nana Addo's win is good for Ghana. There is just a simple need for a change in Government. I don't have much against Mahama personally. He did his best which was not enough. He is one of the finest gentlemen in our politics, only he became corrupt and surrounded himself with corrupt babies. For people who do not know Akuffo Addo, (unless he has changed since I knew him in the 90s), he is just too straight forward and don't mince with his words. He is just like Papa Jerry, just he is more diplomatic.
Why Ghana needed a change? Some people in government have become children with baby sharp teeth and were untouchables as Papa Jerry would say.
Now, if you are a government minister or MP, they will know that in democracy, the people can have a say with their votes. Some NDC people have just become so arrogant. Now they need to go back and learn their lessons and also reflect on certain taxes they approved and will now have to pay too now that they have lost their seats and shall also have to pay.
To Akuffo Addo, we shall see those you surround yourself with before some of us can give our maximum support. For now, all eyes are watching.
NDC's lose is a learning experience. Where is Adams, Asiedu Nketia, Anyidaho and Omane? Recoiled into their shells?

Dr Omane Boamah on the other hand said sometime ago just before the 2016 election campaign said the NDC doesn't need Mr. Rawlings to win election. How can leading members of a party make such ungrateful statements about its founder and expect to win election? No, you can't be wrong and get right so says an adage. All because they've banked their hopes in the EC to rig the elections for the NDC. Asiedu Nketiah, Omane Boamah and other NDC executives systematically rendered Mr Rawlings irrelevant so he advised himself and stayed away and the end result was that the NDC went crushing down heavily. God gracefully intervene to rescue the millions of Ghanaians who were yearning for CHANGE due to the economic hardships the Mahama administration had imposed on them. Mr. Rawlings MUST embark party overhauling immediately.

Now that Akufo Addo has won the elections, he is trying to lecture him on corruption. RAWLINGS SHOULD FIRST RETURN THE $5M bribe he took from General Abacha to the Nigerian people.

All through the election campaign the President would say one thing to challenge the opposition's message and later change the message to endorse the oppositions narrative. First infrastructure was the top topic, then the NPP countered it with corruption and cost the JDM shifted quickly to join the NPP'S jobs mantra. Then there was the vow never to pay nurses and Teachers allowances that was reversed because the NPP promises to pay. Then the stop begging to be elected advise to Nana that was later copied by NDC officials begging to be saved. Over confidence of the President easily gave way to desperation to cling onto power as if the battle was already lost. The open widespread sharing of gifts and money in front of cameras, all after claiming government had no money to rum the mental hospital, to pay allowances, to pay salary increases, to pay bonuses and even to run ministries and departments seemed very dishonest, fitting the describing that corruption is what has caused government bankruptcy

Is NDC for only northerners and Ewes. We established as National Party not any ethnic grouo. Somebody said Rawlings was too old to campaign so he must be sidelined. Those persons should answer not Rawlings. Nana is 72 years but went round the country campaigning. Is Rawlings not younger than Nana. All those NDC Executives and JDM should be pushed out of the party. There is a big division in the NDC party. The old guards withdraw and infact some worked and supported the NPP. Where is Kojo Tsikata and his group. Where are the CDR and PDC boys they were all pushed out of the party. Rather these choppers took over to loot the national wealth. A lot of people joined the party not because they love NDC but rather to loot the national wealth. Rawlings please come back to take over the party you founded from these looters. And sack these babies with sharp teeth. They have nothing to offer only to steal state resource through kick backs from infrastructure projects.
