Why should this be a matter which must require a loaded response from a retired naval officer? The rumor of recruitment in the security services is not a limited exercise. Good question. However, you and the like of many others, including Yaw Osafo Marfo got it all twisted due to a party affiliation first and then Ghana syndrome often perpetuated by both major parties. In short, Yaw Osafo Marfo is the chairman of the president-elect's transition team in talks with the outgoing government's transition team and could have laid his suspicion bare before them for clearance instead of dangerously putting it out there in the public domain speculatively.
Don't forget that Ghana now has a constitutional law dictating how the transition period must be conducted so as no fool could mistakenly burn the country down during the process. Go and read that act and come and tell us again as to whether Yaw Osafo Marfo foregone utterance were necessary or not. I am done here.
