  It's rather unfortunate that people always try to make themselves popular by building on others knowledge delivered. Where was the challenger when the cleric was making his predictions earlier? He should give a break

  Sheikh khamis did not throw any challenge and it will have been prudent if he had not attended the studio but I think the Jebreel guy is a bit boastful though he seem to have some knowledge on what he does.

  Sheik and Abu(Belgium), you are both right - this Sheikh Khamis of a guy did not have a case to go to the studio to challenge Jebreel. This debate was one-sided - Jebreel won hands down. I am not saying I agree with Jebreel that he gets his predictions spiritually, but I think his interpretations of the Qur'an is right. GOD ALMIGHTY HIMSELF said HE has not left out anything in the Qur'an. HE also said HE revealed the Qur'an to defy everybody (and of course every knowledge), that means the meaning (or the understanding) of the Qur'an is beyond what we think we know it to be right now. And the Prophet (pbuh) said whosoever GOD wants him with good (things) HE gives him the understanding of the 'deen'(the Qur'an). This has always been the case even at the time of the Prophet - some of his disciples understood the deeper meaning of the Qur'an better than others. Early mathematicians like Ummar Kayyan were able to invent algebra because of their understanding of the Qur'an. The Qur'an explains everything - how we are able to utilize the meaning practically is the problem. May GOD give us the understanding of HIS words. Aameen.
