Had it not been the selfishness of Payet and Antonio, Ayew would have scored many goals already.l wonder why West Ham will spend so much money to buy a player and these two players would like to render him inefficient to accomplish their selfish interest. Don't worry Dede, there will be no selfish play at the Afcon so you will reach your peak. When you return and they still play selfishly, you can then make a determination.

Ayew is trying to be a striker but he's in no shape or form a striker. He isn't positioning himself appropriately to receive the ball in the box and the reason his teammates aren't passing the ball to him. He also can't shoot so what good of a striker can he be. The best position for him should be attacking midfield, number 10, but he isn't showing a whole lot of ball handling skills. He's seems confused on the field and underperforming right now. His form is dipped a lot.

Check the movement he made with Payet against Hull and confirm for me who was in clear goal scoring position. Ayew or Payet. We claim Ayew is not a striker but whose goals lifted Swansea from relegation last season. I do understand your viewpoint but that was when he returned from injury.Which was quite understandable. Please don't hesitate to contrast my views.

Let me use Ghanaian players to make my point clearer to you Nana. Tony Yeboah was a striker, world class and way above Asamoah Gyan. Abedi Pele was a world class attacking midfielder, a number 10. And what I'm saying is that Andre Ayew is not a Tony Yeboah, not even close to Gyan. He's more of an Abedi Pele, minus super ball handling skills. Yes, Andre is dangerous in front of goal when opposing teams don't account for him. The problem for him is when the defense is designed against him being the striker and the main point of attack. He then gets lost and don't know where to place himself or what to do. You know, the EPL is very competitive and a lot of the coaches run out of ideas so they try things that are sensational but short-lived.
