You haven't come to terms with the nauseating corruption and brazen lies of appointees like you.

Don'd kid yourself that NDC won the 2008 and 2012 elections on merit and superb organisation. Those elections were won by default through clandestine rigging. Such was you reliance on your rigging strategies that when it failed you, your party got heavily thrashed in the polls.
NDC has a lot to do recapture any resemblance of a nationwide party.
Across the world democracies, conservative and business friendly policies as espoused by the NPP largely gained long and sustained traction with a demographics that are increasingly becoming more urbanized.

The "buga buga" politics days are over and gone for good. Tribal politics as per the just ended polls kicked to the touch. Your hold on the rural folks and exploiting their ignorance is ebbing every day with more of our people becoming better informed through the disruptive power of social media. It was your downfall, your many lies and fabrications were exposed.
and reckon A-Plus song nearly 5million Ghanaians downloaded and listened to his message and advocacy for change.
To bring NDC from the brink you have the task cut out. It is like woing back a lover you have spurned. Ghanaians would take a long look before they welcome you back between their warm legs.
2008 is not going to happen again. Akufu Addo and the NPP is determined to deliver on his promises and hold on to power as long as it takes. We are looking forward to exciting days in Ghana and lest I forget there is more oil and gas being discovered to give the NPP govt the much needed resources to build a first class economy. Greed,opulence and sheer arrogance of the Mahama regime was what resulted in the humiliating defeat.People who sacrificed including spending their own financial resources to help John Mahama regime into power were not only dumped but persecuted by the very government they helped into power.Baba,I cannot tell for sure if you are a Cadre or not.It was obvious the president sort to create his own power base and one of the biggest mistake he made was to sideline Cadres and people perceived to be associated with the Founder Jerry Rawlings.The President was fooled into believing that he was popular and dominant and could win the election on his own merit.The fact that the president knew very little about the reality at the grassroots level meant he was just being misled by a bunch of sycophants and opportunists who were just interested in cashing in taking advantage of the widespread political corruption under his regime.Some of us made the argument time and again that the negative populist approach by the president to project him as a cult figure coupled with the deliberate conscious attempt to render the Founder redundant was a political suicide particularly in the manner in which the plan was executed.Jerry Rawlings for example doesn't need to be a Father Chrismas splashing huge cash and expensive gifts to few elites including members of the opposition to be seen as a good man.He did things that ensured equality and social justice in the interest of the poor masses that made him widely likeable and popular.I wrote several articles in the past lamenting the crony capitalism and nepotistic approach by the Mahama Government ,unfortunately a social Democratic government was a recipe for disaster as the NDC can't match the NPP on its own terms. The insolence,arrogance and opulence with impunity by Mahama and his appointees,Baba Jamal inclusive ,in the midst of widespread corruption bringing about widespread economic hardship resulted in the total rejection.The reality is that the NDC as a party needs restructuring to bring power and governance process close to the ordinary citizenry similar to arrangements during the days of the PNDC to make it a true social Democratic party.The current arrangement encourages autocrasm,dictatorship ,breeds corruption that promotes opulence and hotheadedness.

Living in a society where social leaders are still respected despite their flaws. One cannot be snobbish to these leaders and expect their followers to cast their vote for you.

So on point Baba with the third reason...I also worked extensively for our return in 2008...what did we do?we brought in Randy Abbey as "chief of staff"sort of at the residence of the first family and tells us who and when to the JM or Auntie Lordina.Randy Abbey was preventing the likes of party bigwigs like Alban Bagbin from seeing JM...Do you remember Alban Bagbin complaining publicly over these scenarious? Randy Abbey,the same guy who was and still part of the coffee shop mafia during his days at the GFA prevented prof Mills from donating to the Black Stars for CAN 2008 but allowed Nana Addo and went on radio to justify the move...he subsequently used his GOOD MORNING GHANA TO "deal"with us.....but we brought him into government and made him one of the biggest importer of rice,Randy sits with Sylvester Mensah and the likes at their Trade fair residences and laugh at how powerful they have become.......digusting,you think I am stupid.I voted against such people , enough is enough.Then we brought in Stan Dogbe and his PR firm ,EVENT PR took charge of every government function with impunity he insults us,master minded the sacking of media personnel because JM made it so....he's filthy rich and can beat up journalists,destroyed their recorders etc....I voted against such looters.Baba , have you been to an event with Stan in charge?see how he treats party faithfuls,supporters etc.I voted against such idiots.....you want us to come together and organize for what?for people/character like stan dogbe and randy abbey to surface again?......Papa said something we thought he was hallucinating...do you remember 'babies with sharp teeth's'?hmmmmmmmm......are you seeing what is happening in the NPP regarding appointements,Baba its no child's play.They are working and are serious.
