I agree 100% with the office of the former president of the story is a lie,the former president has gone through a lot of vilification in the hands of his party small minds and we in the Npp can not contribute to this acts of disrespect to him.I did not agree with the former president when he decided to adopt wait and see attitude before the general elections but reasons best known to him probably informed his decition,as they ponder on what to do next we in the Npp can best give him the peace of mind to rebuild his party after all we got what we wanted power.I can forsee NDC twisting this against their founder for helping the Npp win power as its already going on in the NDC even though they said openly that they didn't need him to win this years elections,so Mr John Amewo should quickly apologize to him if he got it wrong because Ghana needs strong opposition such as the NDC to move our democracy forward.

I had the misfortune of being detained at the Castle Guard Room shortly after Gyiwa's failed coup in 1983. I was in the same guard room with Djandu who was one of the killers of the judges. When I asked him if Capt. Kodjo Tsikata and Rawlings ordered the killing of the judges, his answer was emphatically no. In the same gauard room was one LCP Ameyaw, a former body-guard of Brigadier Nunoo Mensah, Corporal Alhassan and a retired soldier one Cpl. Amoako-Atta. If ex-LCP Gatisko (was a member of AFRC) is still alive he knows who Amoako Atta is and probably Ameyaaw. Ameyaw was killed for allegedly kiling some soldiers.

Jerry is gradually losing his grounds to Mahama as a leader in NDC. The earlier he seeks Mahama's forgiveness the better. His attitude and his lukewarm behavior is the cause of the disastrous result of the just end election for the ruling party. He is not bold but selfish and the type who thinks when he blames directly on the party about the corruption , the arrogant behavior of the party leaders and other malpractices it will be in the advantage of the opposition. Why didn't he spew out early frankly on what was going on with the governing party. All the loot and Share was going on right before his eyes but afraid to voice out about it. The NDC members should not blame anybody for their bad performance of the party but on the founder. If your child is misbehaving before you and you pretend you don't see it , you will be one day be blamed for your inability to control him. How can the government just borrow and borrow to the tune of more than 30 billion dollars and pretend he is doing infrastructure development. What percentage of the money they borrowed actually went into the so called infrastructure. It can never reach 20 percent of the actual money they borrowed. So were are the rest of the money. Not that, Rawlings is not aware but afraid to talk about because it. Despite of the differences between him and the leaders of the party , he still don't want NDC to go to the opposition, but FRANKLY I want Ghanaians to note this strictly, this is the beginning of the end of NDC party as a formidable party in Ghana.

Individuals LIKE RAWLINGS with narcissistic personality disorder generally believe that the world revolves around them. This condition is characterized by a lack of ability to empathize with others(eg. his callous remarks to the BBC after Prez Mills' death) and a desire to keep the focus on themselves at all times(he loves media attention and will do everything to get one, – SUCH AS GATE CRASHING A BIRTHDAY PARTY TO COURT ATTENTION - he does not want to leave the political scene - his appearance at the NDC congress in Kumasi notwithstanding his being sidelined by the Ahwois, Tsikatas, Kofi Awoonor, HIS U-TURN IN SAYING THE NDC WILL WIN 2012 AFTER SAYING THEY WILL LOSE). For the 2016 elections, he refused to show up at the final rally of the NDC – a party that he founded. He has sought to hug the political space by allowing her wife to form her own party and at the same time have her daughter stand for the NDC. He is wishing JDM loses the 2016 election so that he can take over the NDC where he has been made irrelevant. Fact is even without his tacit support, JDM won the 2012 elections.

Now that Akufo Addo has won the elections, he is trying to lecture him on corruption. RAWLINGS SHOULD FIRST RETURN THE $5M bribe he took from General Abacha to the Nigerian people.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder involves arrogant behavior, a lack of empathy for other people, and a need for admiration(he loves the hero worshipping and superstar status)-all of which must be consistently evident at work and in relationships. He at one time projected that the NDC would lose the 2012 elections and is doing same for the 2016. He wants JDM to lose the 2016 elections so that he and his wife can have total control of the party

Enough, of Rawlings. No where in the world do you find a formal head office, who spend every minute of his time, meddling with office holders, in running the affairs of the country. Except Rawlings. He left the army in his 30s, after staging a coup, then he came back, via another coup, then he formed a political party, and ran the country for another 8years, and after, 4 successive presidents, he still on a daily basics, meddle in the affairs of the nations business. Does anyone advice this man. He should know that the nation needs him to stop, and find something to do with his life. He must indeed get a life!
