THEREFORE, HE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS AND INCREMENT OF SALARIES OF NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL.

  While secretly negotiating through third parties for the President elect to spare his thieving wife, brothers and himself from prosecution for their stinking acts of corruption, Mahama is at the same time doing things to tie the hands of the incoming President and cause his failure. My advise to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo : authorize the trial of every member of the NDC Looting brigade who is found to have participated in the rape of Ghana, including John Mahama and his family. Retrieve all their loot and jail them.

  I Agree 100%, I am even in favor of nullifying all high level appointments after the election date until inauguration of the new president.

  But don't forget NPP is the last who has the right to complain, or have you forgotten: ex-gratia, chief justice, sale of Ghana Telecom ?
  Lets just hope Nana won't do that in 4 or 8 years.

The 1992 Constitution actually needs a change, look at how much ex-gratia money MP get every 4 years whether they lose or win elections. Are they different from other public servants, what about the forces, teachers,health workers etc. No wonder everyone in Africa wants to be a politician

Has the President committed an illegality by filling vacancies? yes it smacks of bad faith but welcome to the world of black politics. NPP is no better, we saw what Kufour did in 2008 when he was leaving office!
