If you think Akufo-Addo the president-elect should've made that declaration and not the current president, Mahama and if you reside in Ghana, then go to work and do not take those days off. Are that ignorant not to realize that Mahama is still the president until mid-night January 6th and has every right to exercise his constitution powers. Until he is sworn in as the president on January 7th, Akufo-Addo has no constitutional powers to anything in the interest of the country. Next time before you post any unintelligent statement and make a fool of yourself, please take a dose of civic lessons.

Are you that ignorant not to realize that Mahama is still the president until mid-night January 6th and has every right to exercise his constitutional powers. In most countries, when a holiday falls on a weekend, the following work day is declared a holiday. I would think the president's declaration of Dec 27 and Jan 2 is not out of the norm, don't you?
