We have politicians living in Accra and as soon as they become MPs, they are given massive housing allowance which means that they leave their homes to rent elsewhere. What happens to their own homes? They rent them out. Another money making mechanism

I don't get it. Yes, I don't get as to why Ghana should housed judges. There are too many waste in the system that should be stopped with immediate effect.
The US, one of the mightiest economy in world does not housed her judges and congress men/women but we Ghanaians see that housing these people is a good thing. When in need of money, we run to these people and begged like fools without thinking twice of how to stop some wastage in the system.
Why are we too dumb?

Ghana still on the dangerous path of spending money that it does not have.Where in the world do you build a three bedroom, self contained, with 2 extra bed rooms outside at the public expense, just for one person? The last time I look at the cost of these buildings, each cost the tax payer more than a million dollars, and we are talking about cost of other ongoing costs! We have mortgaged our lives and that of generations to follow forever!

Why does the state have to provide accommodation for judges? Are they not receiving salaries?
Accommodation, fuel allowance, clothing allowance etc for judges and other public servants - why won't our country be poor?

I squirm at the idea of putting all our judges in one residential building. Very bad idea! Anything happens and we are seriously handicapped. Give them the money and let them find their own residence.
