In a perfect Ghana, the families of the affected could file a class-action suit and hold accountable all who authorized gas stations and gas vendor units in illegal zones as well as the inspection services that were supposed to make sure all safety measures were being adhered to. Unfortunately in our goat-meat-bribe required and Woyome-millions-scam judiciary system there is no hope of justice!

It doesn't matter which government is in power. Unless the proper authorities do their job, more of such tragedies will occur in our beloved Ghana. This is not the first incident. Remember the Kumasi explosion a couple of years ago that made the international news?

My big question is who approves of such dangerous stuffs in a populated areas? I visited Ghana recently and was shocked to see that gas station in that area.
