When they confronted Maa Lizzy,she paid back their GHC 4,400 she took to facilitate their documents with the assurance of letting the white people bring back their son.

Maa Lizzy till date has failed to bring back their son and though they have reported the matter to the Tema police station ,they are yet to hear something productive from the police.

Luther King, I totally agree with your comment which is very probable and well done for it. There is obviously more to this story than what we are reading. From the story, there were red flags at almost every stage of the transaction which this father either failed or refused to see. The transaction involved human life (not some cargo) and therefore common sense and precaution should have been exercised at all times. The father who supposedly cannot read or write should have sought for advice or second opinion on the issue before agreeing to anything. He failed to do this. This was not an accident. The baby wasn't snatched either. If the father cannot read, can he also not see? The whole transaction was shrouded in secrecy which raises a lot of suspicion. He treated his child's life as worth less than peanuts and he should be ashamed for this diabolical act. Only God knows what this baby may be going through. The father is now trying to feed on public sympathy after such wanton recklessness. I am just upset about it because of what could be happening to the poor baby. I strongly believe the baby was traded as a commodity by a worthless father. In a word the father is a SCUMBAG and he should hang his head in shame. If it is proven in court that this man did transact his child for money, he should be sentenced, locked up and the key thrown away.

We need to work on our mental aparatus.
It will be very difficult to get the child back. Apart from that the report was not given us the date or time between flight the signed contract and the report to the Tema police.
