All the newly recruits who will begin training on December 28, 2016 are from Afife in the Volta Region, the home town of the Interior Minister, Mr. Prosper Banni. This issue sparked a controversy among some Senior Immigration Officers, resulting in the transfer of a few, from Accra to the hinterlands of Ghana, to shut them up. Nana Kutin must press home for his quota, rather than to allow only Ewes to form a contingent, in the Immigration Service. After all, the people of the Volta Region constitutes only 5% of the population of Ghana, yet owns the Police, the Ghana Armed Forces, The Prison Sevice, and now the Immigration Service, just to mention a few of the Public Services they have dominated, since Jerry Rawlings became the tyrant of Ghana.

THE IMMIGRATION SERVICE SHOULD MOVE THEIR TRAINING SCHOOL FROM THERE.
DOES IT MEAN THAT EVERY TOWN THAT GIVES ITS LAND FOR A TRAINING CENTER,THEIR PEOPLE HAVE TO BE EMPLOYED,WHETHER THEY QUALIFY OR NOT?

Ghanians do not need such a chief who cannot reason.The fact that this Training school is at Assin does not mean that the Assins have automatic admission.The Police has to invite zhe chief for his childish threat.

Some other Chief will also say he wants his indigenes to work at immigration posts since there's none at Assin. Did we go or did we come.

Ghana immigration service is very corrupt.This year 2016 All applicants who bought the form and was shortlisted to write the exams was not called again to enroll for the next process.This is very painful,even they didn't both ...

Ghana immigration service is very corrupt.This year 2016 All applicants who bought the form and was shortlisted to write the exams was not called again to enroll for the next process.This is very painful,even they didn't bother to mark the exams at all which was conducted by the officeers.Even as at now those who wrote the exams didn't even know nothing that peoe have bewn callesd to attend medicals and training.Later on it was stated that 200 applicants have be called to attend for medicals which no one have ideal about it.So the officers,the minister and the government who are involved in this connection should take seriously care because the Almighty God will reward them accordingly. They should be mindful in what they are doing underground of this security services and wait for the outcome.Shameful leaders in Ghana.keep it up.

it is not mandatory that once the immigration training school is in Assin Foso area people from that area must be recruited into the school .
