It is one of the thins that we do wrong because it is the survival of the fittest in our culture, he who shouts the loudest wins the day, women are not allowed to take part in decision making, that is why we are unable to translate our rich resources into better living conditions for our people.
The most intelligent among us may be some small men and women(dwarfs), most of them are doctors, scientist etc.

It appears that the clever folk who tried to destroy Bagbin by undermining him at the constituency level so he would lose his seat, have found a perfect way to move him out of the NDC's leadership for good.
The NDC will be extremely foolish to allow Bagbin to be prevented from leading the Minority in Parliament.
In the political wilderness the party needs his leadership skills now more than ever.
One hopes that Bagbin sees through this ploy - and does not make the same strategic mistake he made in accepting to be moved by Mills' hatchetmen from being Majority Leader to head the ministry of water resources, works and housing.
Let him hold on to the more powerful position of Minority Leader - and exert a calming influence on the party's grassroots that way: and prevent those at the presidency responsible for the party's defeat from finally sticking the long and sharp double-edged knife in his back.

GOVT EXHIBITING BAD FAITH AND SECTIONALISM
In the year 2000 the NDC lost power to the NPP and it was a contest between Professor Mills and J.A. Kufuor. This was a straight fight between two main candidates, none being incumbent though there were other candidates in the contest. This was at a time there was clarion call over the whole country for change because NDC with the same faces have managed the country under President Rawlings for 19 years made up of 11 years as a military dictator and 8 years under democratic rule. Ghanaians were fed up so it was quite easy for the NPP in spite that the NDC was the incumbent party. I was then contributing articles for the Free Press and The Ghanaian Chronicle newspapers since there was no social media as we have it now.
The lost to the NPP in the just ended elections has been a devastating blow to the NDC so much that they are finding it difficult to come to terms with the loss. Their strong desire to mount a malicious opposition to the incoming NPP administration speaks for itself. They wish their party can come to power in 2020 which is far from happening. They should not think the NPP will allow the laxity in our electoral process which they exploited in 2012 will continue. We will ensure electoral reforms which will make our elections less acrimonious and suspicious. Those foreigners who have gained entry into our register will equally be dealt with.
In view of the above I wish to once again congratulate the NPP flag bearer and all those who worked together with him for the victory because the victory has really hit the NDC so much that they are finding it difficult to believe what has happened to them. We shall repeat the dose again in the year 2020 if we are alive and strong by the will of God.
If Ghana were to be a company the NPP transition team will be demanding the Profit and Loss account and the Balance Sheet to enable them evaluate the condition of the nation. However, the assets and liabilities of the country need to be assessed by the new administration to determine their nature and existence. I believe the Accountant General will be on hand to provide these statements. It is important that we don’t take anything on the surface which the outgoing Government puts on paper. Ghanaians will not be happy with us if we should tell them far later about their deceptions. These people are known to do ‘’accounting to the people’’ without providing figures to the so called infrastructure which was their mantra prior to the elections. Ghanaians will like to know the actual costs of all these infrastructures which have been touted about and which one cannot ask for accountability.
They say they will mount a vigorous opposition to ensure that we deliver on our promises which we are sure to deliver to the people. They have begun showing bad faith as we are yet to take over the administration of the country. There is no show of good will but we accept the challenge. This can be malicious but we shall not be distracted at all. Our party communication team will be available to do justice to whatever issues which will be put on the front burner. The issues we have enumerated in our Manifesto should be our focus because this is the official document we presented to the people of Ghana upon which they gave us their mandates. Comments by party members should not be taken as the position of the party except the party takes responsibility for them. In law an agent who does not operate within the mandate of the principal cannot bind the principal.Any party person can say anything he or she wishes but the party cannot be bound as long as that statement made is not for and on behalf of the party. The NPP and the incoming Government will be concerned mainly with the matters stated in the manifesto of the party which is the official document used for the social contract. Communicators of the NDC are all over the place stating issues which they so desire and we are not going to be distracted by them at all.
Reference to infrastructure as the yardstick for judging the performance of a government is actually flawed. It appears we are saying execution of infrastructure is more critical than the condition of life of that human being. Not every infrastructure has an immediate and direct impact on the life of the individual. Provision of water for instance has immediate and direct impact than the provision of school. We should not forget that education is a means to an end so its impact will not be felt immediately. Late Professor Mills as the President emphasized this in the point that his Government will tackle urgent needs before necessary needs are attended to. In the bank where I used to be, we have worked with the same principle in the situation where a customer is before the banker requesting for an immediate service. This customer needs to be attended to before the banker can attend to an in house activity which is also important in the operation of the company. President Mahama and the NDC have limited the administration of the country to only the provision of infrastructure and it is because of corruption. They should have asked these infrastructures to vote for them in the elections but that never be.It is a fact that every Government since the history of this country has done infrastructure. The Mahama led administration has really amassed wealth never witnessed in this country and this will all be exposed sooner or later.
The award of contract on sole sourcing with less than a month to hand over is very strange. People are talking about the contract being budgeted for and that the tenure of the administration has not come to an end. Under what conditions are contracts awarded on sole sourcing such that a minister have to wait until when he is about to leave office before he awards the contract? Is sole sourcing not done under urgent circumstance and the minister had to wait from the beginning of the year to now before he signs? This contract need to be investigated to ensure that there is value for money and that there is no under hand dealing. These people are leaving office so they have to reward their friends and families and also get their cuts. It is not a must that expenditures budgeted for must be executed even if there will be no value for money.
Another issue of worry is the award of employment to friends and families when the tenure of the Government is about to end. Were all these budgeted for in this year’s budget? Apart from asking whether these are catered for in the 2016 budget, there is an issue of irresponsibility on the part of Government to impose an expenditure on an incoming administration which is yet to prepare their budget taking note of their revenue and expenditure capabilities. I heard a lecturer of the University of Ghana Business School say the credit for the payment of this increase should be taken by the new administration which I agree. It is a matter of substance over form when we are dealing with it from accounting point of view.
Are there actual vacancies in the places they are being posted to? Are the places of postings new jobs created and need to be filled before the Government leaves office and cannot wait for the new administration? The Communication Minister has claimed the Government has created 400,000 direct jobs and 300,000 indirect jobs. Are these parts of these jobs? What have all these people been doing before the elections? This has been the attitude of the NDC Government during its tenure; the jobs they have created have been reserved for their party people and what we are seeing is a clear testimony of that attitude.
The new administration should review the contract with the IMF to assure themselves that it will facilitate what the Government want to achieve especially on the creation of job for the teeming unemployed. The focus of the incoming administration is principally different from the previous who are interested in contracting loans for projects out of which they will fill their pockets. In the year 2000 President Kufuor had to sign onto the HIPC initiative because of high and unsustainable debt of the country. The current NDC government under President Mahama has repeated the same action of their predecessor led by former President Rawlings. It is becoming clear that NDC governments are only interested in heavy borrowing than the quality of leadership they offer to the country. Any time they are leaving office the country is left with heavy debt to settle.
KokuAnyidohu is really amusing when he is invited to speak on radio particularly on Rainbow Raidio where he comes to rant and barks like a dog. He gives the posture that he is the only man in this country and one cannot forget his comments on the Radio that they will crush the NPP if they try to prevent the people of the Volta Region from voting. At the end of all these ranting and barking what was the NDC’s performance in the election in the Volta Region? Indigenes of the Region of whom I am part are no fools like him and he cannot decide for the people. Koku went into hiding when the results were showing that the NDC was losing out. I hold the same view as Abdul KwekuBaako Jnr that KokuAnyidohu was part of the heavy defeat of the NDC. It is for his party to decide what they want to do with him but we want him to know that the head is greater than stupid courage.
If the NDC communicators say they will mount pressure on the new administration to deliver on promises, we shall also take it upon ourselves to discuss the wrong things they have committed against the people of Ghana whiles they were in office. We shall not spare them at all and they should also be ready.
In my last but obviously not the least comment and not related to the focus of this article, I want to use this opportunity to humbly request the Chief Justice that since the elections are over now, labour and commercial cases pending in the courts should be dealt with as quickly as practicable. These cases often have economic impact on lives and the continuous delay in the judgment adversely affect lives. I personally have no case pending in this court however I am very much interested in the case between FBNBank Ghana and some ex-employees which is pending in the Labour and Commercial Court. This case is being unnecessarily delayed by the defendant (the bank) and my plea is that the Presiding Judge does not entertain the delay from the defendant. Very soon I will also be in court against the same bank in relation to human right abuse and I will not be happy to go through similar delay. It is the same legal profession which tell us that ‘’justice delayed is justice denied.’’

PRESIDENT MAHAMA HAS BEEN SECTIONAL IN HIS APPROACH
In my last count of the number of articles I have contributed to public reading at the beginning of the official campaign leading to the elections has been 77. These articles cut across several issues which are considered necessary for public consumption but mainly on political issues. I have been motivated by the fact that the NDC and the President have adopted propaganda and lies as their main tool for campaign and have targeted the less discerning voters who are most likely to believe what they say. These people may not have any other means to know the veracity in the things being said so it is necessary for an independent and well informed mind to bridge this gap. Aside this I have not been impressed with the sectional approach to leadership being exhibited by the President who is supposed to be president over the whole nation. Such an approach need not be entertained so there was a deliberate decision to facilitate his exit which I executed to the best of my ability. I am very happy the President has been kicked out of power and it is an answered prayer for me. Even though he has been voted out now the campaign has not ended yet. We wait to have the true and unadulterated reports of the true state of the country which the Government has kept away from the citizenry, to enable us determine the next line of action. I am not only interested in the change but beyond that thereby sending signal to those who want to govern that the Ghanaian people will not entertain any president who uses the powers of he state to suppress and despise the people.
The President and his followers have become very arrogant and have not paid heed to the concerns of the people. It appeared as if the President was only responsible for the well being of the members of the NDC, friends and families. He does what he likes with nonchalant attitude using state powers at his whim and caprices. There were several threats of industrial actions and actual ones on legitimate demands which were disrespected but the President will find money to do things in the interest of those sections that are aligned to him. Madam AkuaDonkor will benefit from house and vehicle whiles other Ghanaians who have worked for the state are ignored for what are due them. The President did release Montie 3 after being incarcerated for offense which was condemned by virtually the country except members of his political party. The President accepted a bribe of a vehicle and he was cleared of the offense because of his influence, against public condemnation. There were several conducts against public endorsement by the President but he has no regard for anybody because of the state vested powers. Many people especially his followers are often praising him to be peaceful because of his managed public demeanor but outside public view he is very dangerous. I will never forget about the description of the President by his former aide and Deputy Power Minister when he said the President is a colossus and mongul during a radio program. The question I asked myself was what makes the President a mongul and colossus?
The NDC is saying when former President Kufuor was leaving office, he signed the Single Spine Salary Pay Structure which benefitted the whole public sector comprising people of NDC and NPP and other politically inclined Ghanaians. It is worth noting also that former President Kufuor had finished his full term in office and will not come back seeking the office of the presidency so if it was a wrong action he took it will not be a baggage following him when he decides to come back. President Mahama is not in the same situation so he should note it since we are being told by his admirers that he is the best bet for the NDC in the 2020 elections. Any negative action he takes as he is leaving office now will be a baggage for him in 2020 so we wait for him.
The defeat of the NDC has really bothered people of the NDC family alone and one can notice that it has been a very big joy for floating voters and others who supported even other parties. There seems a big relief for most citizens and that is reflective of the nation’s mood. It means largely that it was only some few people who were living good during the tenure of President Mahama and the NDC. Majority of Ghanaians are very happy about the loss by the NDC and no wonder it is reflected in the margin. It is better people who have tied their fortunes to the NDC to go and reflect and promise never to incur the displeasure of Ghanaians as they have done. We therefore wish the President and his Government an early Exit so that the country can recover from his maladministration.
The Deputy Minister of Power has been playing mischief that they have laid a sound foundation for the power sector but it is for him to tell the people of Ghana. We shall know it after they have left office and the in coming administration apprise themselves of the objective conditions on the ground. What they say now is of no consequence in my view because we know they wish the in coming administration and the people of Ghana in general, evil. Their actions in the few days left, leave much to be desired. We have response to them but we are holding our fire till they hand over.
The NDC and the President should be humbled by the result of the elections and in particular their conducts prior to the election. They conducted a flamboyant and very expensive campaign. The bill board of the President was in every part of the city and across the whole country which are highly visible. They abused incumbency without concern to the complaint by the minority parties. State resources were exclusively used as if every tax payer belonged to the NDC. They hijacked both the electronic and print media with their adverts and campaign against the NPP. One thing they wished they could do but were not successful was to prevent the door to door campaign of the NPP flag bearer. In fact if resources alone could win elections, the NDC should have won it by at least a margin of two million votes (2 million votes). For the campaign itself they attacked the personality of the NPP flag bearer, they played the tribal card by inciting hatred against the flag bearer, they lied in their messages, they over exaggerated in their messages, they linked themselves to the great Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah’s achievements, they over trumpeted the infrastructural projects they have done, they ‘’stole’’ some of the promises by the NPP, they did everything possible under the sun to convince the Ghanaian voter but all did not work. The message of the NPP was hinged on ‘’THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S.’’ This was the magic that established the difference between the two parties. But as we perfectly know God cannot be limited by anything and He actually spoke on December 7th. All these should humble the NDC and the President to appreciate the hand of God in this election and stop wasting everybody’s time. The steps they are taking to frustrate the new administration will back fire again and they will dim their chances in the next four years in competing for political power. If by the wish of God I am alive, I will play out the film they are shooting today for them and the people of Ghana. They say Ghanaians have short memories but some of us don’t fall within that category.
It is sad to hear one of their foot soldiers claims he is being ejected from his house because the NDC lost power. I did not initially want to make the comment I am about to make but I want to advise that he may have called for it. I also live in a house whose landlady is sympathetic to the NDC but she is not ejecting me even though I owe 7 months of rent because of the way I hold myself in the house. Some of them extend the same conduct they exhibit when they call into radio programs to their homes which are irritating because they think their party is in power and they will have access to cheap money from their party and big men in their party. We know that they are financed by the party to afford the cost of their calls into radio programs. It is not too late for this man called Lagbadza to approach his party for support. Their big men have made so much money from corruption at the expense of the state and it will not be difficult to receive the required help.
We in the NPP are not interested in the sectionalism displayed in the past 4 years the NDC has been in power. The in coming administration will provide leadership to the country that will facilitate the opportunity for Ghanaians to realize their aspirations and goals. This is the same reason why the President was voted for but he threw away the opportunity and keep singing the chorus ‘’infrastructure’’ as if the majority of the people will survive on infrastructure whiles a few of them made up of families and friends amass all the wealth and live comfortably.I want to emphasize that we are ready for the opposition they have panned against Nana Addo’s Government. I will say the in coming administration will never respond to any useless cry from them but we shall have the responsibility to inform Ghanaians on steps we are taking to provide them with better living conditions. The calls being made on the President-Elect now are needless and that will not lead us to take knee jerk reactions. Are they better living in the present conditions at the moment or they desire better conditions going forward?

Why don't you publish both comments as articles and post them on Ghanaweb as a commentator here suggests?

THE FRUSTRATIONS OF NDC FOOT SOLDIERS
Sometimes when I listen to officers of the NDC say that they will come back to power in 2020 and their sure bet is John Mahama it tickles me to laugh. I tell myself these people do not know what awaits them. I want them to know that I am about to embark on a project to last for 4 years to analyze everything the NDC Government has done which the people of Ghana need to know. The stories need to be told noting particularly the spirit behind it. The 4 years is about the same period they deliberately collapsed the private sector for their advantage. The only caveat to this project is for me to get back to work and be able to afford myself and the family our means of survival. On this note I want them to revise their note and get ready for the Bazooka.
I find it difficult to appreciate the overwhelming defeat by the NDC because these are people who have been making the loudest noise claiming to have done all that Ghanaians needed. Their communicators from one radio station to another were recounting endless number of infrastructures they have constructed. I believe this made some people to conclude the elections will be close or there will be a run off. It was their communicators alone that claimed they will gain a straight win and were bold to predict the percentage. In the midst of this some of us knew that they have done badly on matters of keen interest to Ghanaians and that they cannot win except to steal. In this regard we expose the areas they can attempt to steal which includeways to dip the votes of the NPP through rejected ballots, bringing in non Ghanaians whose names have been captured on the voters register from voting and few others. There was the need to introduce controls into the electoral process to make it difficult for malfeasance. In fact as the NPP insisted on these measures it was becoming clear to the NDC that the NPP was taking nothing to chance but they could not help it. They have attempted at certain times to speak on behalf of the EC when the issue on the table were not for them to respond to. This year’s election has been touted to be the most transparent in our electoral process and it can be attributed to these reforms. I only hope that we shall not go to sleep but we shall make the reforms as permanent ingredients and further improve upon them.
The NDC’s loss has really hit the foot soldiers hard in particular but they did not have the foresight to also accumulate fortunes as their masters. The end to the practice of receiving allowances and stipends for their dirty work has dawned on them. This was the reason some of them have to be quickly recruited through the back door after the out going team has agreed to collaborate with the incoming team on areas agreed upon including this. It was an illegal action being executed so it must at the blind side. It must be noted that during the campaign government business had not ceased and the NDC was still in charge of the administration of the country so could have done all these things. If they have won the election those recruitments would not have been done. One will therefore like to know if the expenditure that comes with this new recruitments and increase in salary were captured in the interim budget for 2017 approved by parliament before the election? The test of bad faith in the out going’s actions which have financial impact on the 2017 financial year can be determined from the interim budget they prepared. If these expenditure items have been catered in the budget, then the additional question is how much was provided?
I was at the thanksgiving service of the President-Elect and was intrigued by his admission that he has been in the forefront of the struggle for Rule of Law which include the preservation of human rights, and Democracy. I believe his success in the election will foster upholding these values and those of us whose human rights have been infringed upon in time will have an attractive opportunity to seek justice. The leader who believes in the rule of law and democracy should be the one who the down trodden should support and work for. Those foot soldiers of the NDC should feel disappointed with their leaders who have stolen from the country and have invested in Dubai and other parts of the world and should be their target of anger and frustration. These investments could have offered job opportunities to Ghanaians and especially them if they were kept in our country. In the same regard I want to appeal to the President-Elect never to forget about the foot soldiers who did the dirty work for the party to clinch victory in the elections. I can use the football team to explain this better because many of us love that game. There are many examples of what I am about to say, both in the past and the present but I want to use Chelsea FC of the English Premiership. The team is doing extremely well of late because of the dirty work of the midfield made up of Kante, Moses and Matic especially. The earlier losses of the team have made the manager to change his game plan to 3,4,2,1: four defending midfielders, Three attackers including a lead attacker. The team is now free scoring and difficult to concede goals. Foot soldiers are very important in any party and their neglect is the beginning of the party’s fall. I am not a foot soldier but a sympathizer. I am very proud of the campaign I waged on my own without support from anybody, through several articles I posted on Ghana web which has a wider readership. My motivation was to ensure the NDC Government leaves power to offer the opportunity for a better government to resolve the concrete problems of our country and to put a break on the mismanagement and corruption which have engulfed the nation. I did not have a job for 15 months and without any income but I was willing and eager to spend the little funds availed to me by friends on internet services. God has actually answered our prayers but not without the efforts.
Campaign for political office is like marketing a product or service. It is about telling the consuming public of the good thing you have for them otherwise how will this good thing be known when the provider is keeping it in his own corner without telling those who need it. The campaign in the just ended elections was executed on this same principle and it is not only those who provided money or resources for the campaign that need attention and appreciation. I only hope that in the jostle for appointments the party and the in coming government especially the President-Elect will be informed by those of us on the fringes who need small assistance to motivate us to do more.

Second deputy whatever my foot. This greedy man hasn't been able to do anything for us for all his 24 wasted years. What can he now do with this new post? Nothing! May be more transfer of his perceived opponents from the region and district to far away places. He hopes to be president may be one day, but I don't see what he can do if all these years he hasn't done anything.
Anyway, I wish him well in his new position. Only God can save as from his greed and monopoly over the seat here.

Good! Make sure u put fire under the anus of that outdated dwarf so that he will travel back to join his friends in the forest. Dwarfs have no place in flagstaff house.

Shouldn't Bagbin be strategizing for the NDC 2020 party flagbearship position? The 2nd deputy speaker position, whereas it is respectable doesn't give him real gravitas or bite. If he really wanted to go for NDC2020 ticket, h ...
