This is what he actually said. “For many years propaganda of our opponents especially among the Krobo people who are living among the Akyem areas was that if I came, they will be in jeopardy. I want to tell you before the entire Krobo people that they should all feel secured, no danger is going to come to them in Akyem because of me. Not at all.”

From this, we can infer that the reportage (this article) as against his (prez-elect) statement only makes it appear as though he can actually disturb other tribes if he chooses to.
Far from it, Prez-elect is a lawyer himself he knows the law; It is by that virtue (knowing the law) that gives him the confidence that nothing will happen to any other tribe as propaganda may have it

This is a very important, reassuring, intelligent and timely statement from the President-elect. Because people like you fail to want to understand anything you just open your mouths and make useless statements. If you care to know, there have been simmering land disputes between Akyems and Krobos over the decades that have created uneasy relationship between these two tribes in the Eastern Region. It isn't only necessary but a smart thing to do on the part of the President-elect who is an Akyem man to assure the Krobos that they have nothing to fear. A wise person would have been curious to know why Nana made this particular statement in the Kroboland and not at any of the various regions and communities that he's been visiting on his Thank You Tour. This is how intelligent people behave, not to be making statements to the effect that "...I think this statement is needless".
