One can now understand why the NPP can tell the world the collated results of the election 8 hours after polls have closed while the EC tweeted those results were false and the NDC kept lying that it is ahead for 48 hours. No clue dumb arses who walk around as intelligent and legally important? Ask someone who is knowledgeable about government financing to explain to you the sources of government Income. Like Tekper , you think It is made up of Taxes and borrowings? . That was why NDC taxed and taxed and borrowed and borrowed for inflated cost and uneconomic infrastructure projects like the HO airport and the new terminal at Kotoka. Both together cost $500 million instead of $100 million. Sheer incompetence and thievery.
For your education if you cut taxes , put in tax friendly agricultural and medium scale industrial production policies,, you can stimulate economic growth, up employment and exports and generate INCOME greater than the reduced taxes. The current capital expenditures by the government is $1.6 billion, taking $275 million to give to Districts for local projects like sanitation ( public toilets) for example and other local needs is a no brainer. Funding for Expenditure? I have told you supply side fiscal policies will yield higher income as well as savings from prudent purchasing regime instead of inflated sole sourcing contracts . Also , NDC corrupt officials looted and wasted our oil revenue. But as luck has it, oil pricing has recovered and all our three discovered and developed Oil Fields will be on production stream going forward which will add to revenues and pay off debts contracted for useless infrastructure projects as well build strategic projects like railways and coastal landing zones for increased fish hauls from the sea and fish processing factories.
Your static and "CANT DO" attitude is amazing!! Burkina Faso a savannah zone country produces vegetables year round supported by catchment dams for export and for local consumption. Is it beyond Ghana to do same? Can't we grow tomatoes to service the idled tomato factory in upper East instead of importing canned tomato paste from Italy? How about production of oil seeds for vegetable oils we import.? Do you know we can produce vegetable oil from corn? How about rice production in the Nsia river plains. And cotton production? All the developed nations grew their national wealth through agriculture production for exports before industrial production. Every food item we import gives employment to the exporting nation. We need to master the food chain from seed to the dinning table. It will create wealth and reduce poverty. Part of the reason for low poverty rates in the south is due to income from cocoa farming. Try and Think far? How one thinks is everything. NDC needs some open minded brainiacs. It's bench is very weak.
Yes, Koku Anyidoho will be shockingly Happy by the next 4-8 years, if he has not drunk himself to his grave? Kwasi Amua-Sekyi it is all about strategic VISION. And Nana Akuffo Addo and the NPP have that vision. We need a nation of CAN DOERS with entrepreneurial mindset to creat wealth through self drive. We have just got to know how much President Mahama earns. There is a plan in the works to move his salary up by 10% and back date it to 2014. The same president was adamant to restore allowances to teachers and nurses in training. The excuse to doing this has been that there is not enough government funds to support such a scheme. However, the out going government has found a space to pay the huge sums of money to President Mahama and other Article 71 office holders.
Already, the Ndc and it's surrogates have begun to change the narrative on taxes which the NPP put out in its campaign manifesto. The NPP did not promise to abolish taxes entirely. There would be taxes alright to enable government business to function. There was a promise however, to abolish nuisance taxes which the government on its way out, heaped on businesses and traders thus, stifling growth of Ghana's economy. The rotten deals pushed through by President Mahama and the Ndc government in the energy sector also, in water supply management, are the reason tariffs are so high and have become a burden to many consumers. Perhaps, when the ECG is asked to replace or correct the dis functional equipment which President Mahama said in the middle of June this year, was the cause of the high tarriffs consumers pay, Ghanaians will be home and dry.

Since then Akuffo-Addo has indeed been elected President but this Koku guy with his unkempt face has the guts to speak as if he has always been a normal Ghanaian.

There are factual inconsistencies in what has been captured in the preceding statement. Koku Anyidoho must address those inconsistencies as reported either than that, their stay in opposition will increase by another term.
