Bawumia has been proved right. A careful analysis of the 2016 elections in some constituencies, will show this. Bawumia said Ghana Voters Register is bloated and that, it also, contained about 72,000 names, which also appear in the voters register of Togo. In late October, Asiedu Nketiah, the general secretary of the Ndc told supporters of his party that come November, the Ndc would move its campaign to Togo. With the view to persuade its supporters in that nation to come and vote in Ghana's elections. This confirms the believe that Ndc have managed to register some Togolese for electoral advantages. But the NPP prevented the numbers from across the border this time around, come in on election day. Hence, the low votes from some parts of the Volta region. Countrywide, the Ndc lost significant number of votes when the results are compared with the 2012 elections. In some constituencies in Greater Accra, as much as 12,000 votes were lost to the Ndc. The reason is a bloated register which gives room for one person to cast multiple votes for the Ndc. The summation of all this is that the NPP learnt a bitter lesson from the 2012 Supreme Court saga. Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia spoke the truth and he has been proved right. Therefore, Koku Anyidoho, who cares for him anyway, may continue in his old bad ways.

This coupled with NDC's inability to rig the election drastically reduced their votes in the volta region in particular and the other regions generally
