The truth is: Rawlings and Thomas Sankara of Burkina Faso were some of the students of Muamar Qaddafi who was at that time promoting his ideas on governance through out the continent. He was the brain behind the many coups in Africa and other parts of the world at that time. One thing common to all those coups was BLOOD SHED.
The reason for the blood shed was to crush all opposition. The youth must ask questions in order to get to the truth. How much money or properties did JJ recover from the so called thieves. Did their wife and children inherit huge sums of money or properties. Were their children in schools abroad? Did they invest in real estate and other businesses abroad? Did they have savings in banks abroad?
U can fool some of the people but thanks to the internet, some of the youth are more intelligent than you, they would know the truth if they decide to dig into our history.
Look at the politicians today, they all have their children in schools abroad, they have invested in real estate abroad, they have mansions at home and abroad, they are filthy rich.
Power is so sweet JJ and his family do not want to do anything else.

We all supported his accountability thing when he first stepped out, but in no time he was practicing the same vices for - and less than those for - which he had murdered several citizens.
He murdered Afrifa and others in cold blood. He murdered the three judges in still colder blood. He looted the country big time! Or else how could someone who could not afford to pay for gari to feed his own family become so rich and own so much within the short time he ruled the country?
To crown it all and cover up his mis-deeds, he compelled his croonies to contort the country's constitution to protect him till hhis death! But we live to see.

This man should be brought to justice for the atrocious, barbaric and bloodsheds he committed against some people of this nation. Where do we stand now as a nation, after all his killings? 25 years of PNDC/NDC rule, what do we see, are we a prosperous country?
Is his party not more corrupt than those he executed? Is he going to call for the execution of Mahama and his men because he himself testified that they're corrupt. He's using this opportunity as a barometer to test the remnants of support within his NDC party.
