A very sad situation i could remember year back when the Chorkor beach was clean we always sit under the coconut trees to relax in the afternoons
This Chorkor beach can be transformed by private entrepreneurs to provide jobs for many people. What is Ghana government doing????

Why are we being so hard on Gas? Accra is not populated by Ga people alone so why blame the Gas alone?
Gas are about only 20% of the over four million people who live in the Accra metropolitan area.
Will the authors of this piece do a comparison....of the Dansoman beach and Bortianor beach... then the residents can learn how those communities maintain cleanliness.
The last 25 years I have been to Ghana regularly (approx. every 2nd year) and it's getting worse. All beaches are filled with dirt. Sad sad story.
