The country's midfield attacking position, I mean, the play maker position is what we are talking about in here. Does Blessing has the rib to position there at the moment? I don't think so. His time may come but as for now, he is a baby in there.

I believe Grant is going to implement Conte's formations which are 3-4-3, or 3-5-2. Taken Blessing out may be a case of too many players in Latif's position for the coach's formation.

BS offense has been being anemic thus far. Their past assignments have all been disappointments, ending in goalless draws or very low score wins. It's never a bad idea to try new players. We cannot count on the same old players if they continue to fail us. My only advice to the coach is to manage the playing time for each player regardless of perceived status. If a player is having a bad day or playing crappy, he should be replaced without favoritism. The coach himself knows his job is on the line. If Ghana fails miserably in this tournament, it is OVER for Avram without an iota of doubt. So relax and just support his decisions. The coach has his reputation and contract at stake. Experience is important, but stamina combined with above average skills is even more important. With the type of soccer played in modern era, speed is key. If I were the BS coach, I will have Asamoah Gyan start from the bench for age/fitness/stamina reasons. Just my personal opinion. It's ok if you don't agree with me.
