Afari Djan and William Atuguba did this country a great disservice and injustice respectively by imposing an individual so myopic, corrosively corrupt, and pathetically incompetent on us for a national leader. This guy, whose popularity within ndc itself was not even put to the test is simply no presidential material. Mahama had absolutely zero drive and vision for the office. All he did was to reduce the serious business of leading a nation to the hedonistic level of partying about with other small small boys like his kid brother and some shady Ghanaian and Nigerian characters whiles looting the state coffers at unprecedented levels. How deplorable! Little wonder then his own party founder confessed to have not voted for him in the 2012 elections. Good riddance.

Mahama was the first vice-president to have succeeded the incumbent on his death. He was also the first president to have shared the 8-year tenure in office with another president and lost the subsequent election to the opposition party. He is probably the first president to have taken a comfortable lead during the collation of election results only to have lost the election by over a million votes within the last four hours before the announcement of results.
So he is not the first president to have served one term since he helped Mills to complete the first term. NDC than one term.
