If you could not sustained NDC to get a 12 year rule, what else do you expect? NDC was voted out not because of any perceived corruption; it was because they were done with their 8 years and that is the far Ghanaians patience can go. If it were perceived corruption, then Kuffour would have served only 4 years. Nobody could have won the election for the NDC, it was time to go. Perceived corruption is the nature of Ghanaians, the in coming government are equally not angels; soon and very soon we shall know whether the fire is burning iron or just chaff.

Most of the appointees were rather minnows, corrupt and abusive and we're not prepared to learn from the more experienced and knowledgable appointees of the Rawlings' regime. Look at the utterances of Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Yamin, Akande, Sampson Ah I the on TV stations and you feel bad being a member of that great party. Yet party officials today are amassing wealth here and there in a broad day light. Can you tell me today that the party founder does not have one million Ghana cedis ( 1,000,000.00) in his bank accounts? The party probably has outlived its' usefulness. We can no longer associate the purpose under which it was established anymore to it. It is either a new NDC that cannot boast of morales of common etiquette or one to be dissolved for a new one in line with the concept of "Probity and accountability"

JJ Rawlings was not involved in the management of the 2016 election. JJ Rawlings's opinion may affect the decision to vote by some voters but may not necessarily cause the loss.

Nana Addo NPP won the 2016 Elections because of its objective management of the election in the face of all the conflicts in the NPP.

President Obama would arrogantly say he could go on winning the elections in the US if the law would allow him to stand. He said that because he was confident of his winning points in any event.

With objectivity, the 2016 election could be won irrespective of what JJ or any body said, provided the management of the election is true and objective. The NDC lost the 2016 election because of lack of selfevident OBJECTIVITY in managing the election.

Rawlings is a savvy politician and a force to reckon with when it comes to retail politics. So for a lecturer like this to make such unfounded statement is very unfortunate and tells how shallow minded you're in grassroot politics. Someone who reign from 1981-2000 in the Ghanaian political landscape has about 3 generations of the population under his influence let alone his hardcore followers. If the guy forms a political party right now, that will spell the end of the NDC. So just don't ever underestimate the the influence that Mr Rawlings has over the country and the NDC.
