Taking an oath of office is a serious business and nothing must be taken for granted. The spirit and letter of the oath must be fully adhered to. Nana did not repeat exactly what the chief Justice read to him to repeat. He used his own word. Even though it is English language and words have synonyms, it is not appropriate and right or the same when swearing.
Nana instead of repeating the word 'WELLBEING' said 'WELFARE'. This makes him notthe president until he is sworn in again.

My own sense is that he will certainly fall short of the impatience of Ghanaians in delivering. This will definitely stress the new president and affect his already frail health which he is trying to hide. Cardiovascular, kidney, and cancer issues become very aggressive with daily stress. At some point if the going gets too tough, as it definitely will, Akufo Addo should not try to play a hero as his Legon mate Prez. Atta Mills did, but retire to the comfort of his family and let the younger Bawumia take over. IN A SENSE, THE NORTHENERS WILL COME BACK AGAIN.

Sir John a clerk in a pharmacy has just been admonished by Nana Addo the owner for missing too many sales. "I'm sorry" the boss says "But one more missed sale and your fired"Aseidu Nketia next customer that comes in has a terrible cough and asks sir John the problem clerk for help. Unable to recall where the cough remedies are, the nervous clerk points to a box of Ex-Lax and says "Here, buy this then go over to our cooler and take all of it with plenty of water".

Aseidu Nketia the customer thanks him and obliges. Finishing his last glass of water, the customer exits the pharmacy. Once outside he stops, takes a few faltering steps, then hugs a telephone pole. Nana the boss, having witnessed the entire scene, approaches Sir John the clerk and asks him what he recommended.

"Ex-Lax," says the clerk hesitantly.
"Ex-Lax !" yells Nana the boss. "That won't help a cough!"
"Sure it does," says Sir John the clerk. "Look,Aseidu Nketia' is afraid to cough."
