He was so handsome that even as a child I could not fail to notice it. But the surprising thing was that he was always in the hands of the police for stealing. Whenever he reappeared from jail or wherever, the police would very soon come to the neighborhood and get him again for stealing. And being tall and well-built and strong, he always gave the police a heck of a time as they dragged him to the police station. I could invariably hear people in the neighborhood who came to the scene remarking, "Oh, he is so handsome, but all he does is stealing." And yet he looked so helpless, seemingly not knowing what was wrong with him. I always observed Mahama and his government with a creepy flashback of that TALL, strong young man being taken away by the police because of what he did.

Mahama continued to be the vice president and then the president of the nation. Because of this, martin amidu has developed some personal hatred against Mahama because Mahama was substituted to his position which led to the victory of the NDC.
If we need an independent prosecutor it should never be martin amidu who have personal hatred against people rather being fair in whatever he does. Ex president Rawlings was also involved in the $2million corruption Saanie Abacha deal. What did he do about that. But because he served in the president Rawlings government, he kept quite.
