The residence in question is the official residence of the vice president, Period. You must vacate it immediately and you should not allow this to stain your reputation. This is ugly stuff and it does not speak well of him or our politics. An official residence is an official residence - if you are not occupying the office the house is designated for, then you move out.
While the former president may be entitled to housing, he should not be able to appropriate for himself a government property that has been designated for official use.
President Mahama should leave quietly and not drag this out - it is embarrassing for him and the country, to say the least.
