1. I will protect the public purse. We will provide vision and direction. 2. I ask you to be citizens, not spectators:; citizens, not subjects. 3. It is time to make sure that there is a true separation of powers in our arms of government. 4. I will not let you, the people of Ghana, down. 5. The change we have voted for has to start with each individual. I ask you to be responsible citizens. 6. It is time to define what being a Ghanaian ought to mean. Being a Ghanaian must mean you sign up to a definable code of conduct. 7. I shall protect the public purse by insisting on value for money in all transactions. 8. I see exciting times ahead, the rule of law will be the underlining tenet of our governance. 9. We should learn and accept that we do not own the land, but hold in trust for future generations. 10. State coffers are not the spoils for victorious political parties. I promise to protect the public purse. 11. Regardless, this is was a grave but pardonable error on their part. I hope they are more diligent in the future.

President Obama's former speechwriter, Jon Favreau was only 24 years old when he started working for him. Age has little to do it with.

If Moses is interested in the young man's job, he should just say it. The issue has happened, the blame has been accepted and apology has been issued. Why are we still stretching it as if the entire 48 months given to the President is going to revolve around this speech. We have work to do: power challenges, economy in shambles, unemployment challenges, issues with health delivery and its management, security, etc. Ghanaians are doing all that because most people are simply lazy

I strongly agree with the Lawyer. Nana deserve an experienced Director of Communication. The Inaugural address was one of the special events in his presidency and for it to go that way, is unfortunate. If people have accepted to work with the President, they should be committed to excellence. Just look at the energy and time that people have spent on this avoidable mistake instead of discussing the significance of the content of the historic speech. Nana said we are not going to settle for a third world standard, so I expect us to do things write. Put things in your own words that the audience can understand and value. Period. Thank you all.

Go back to American History and one will find out that their speeches were STOLEN from other people, such as Abraham Lincoln and Woodrow Wilson to mention a few. Even Kwame Nkrumah did use others, specially on the first day of Ghana's Parliament statement.It is the meaning of the speech not where it came from.Do Ghanaians want to remain SUBJECTS(SLAVES) TO SOME TIN POT DICTATOR or a CITIZEN OF OUR BELOVED COUNTRY GHANA WHERE EVERYONE HAS A ROLE TO PLAY AND RESPECTED.This is what the President wants every Ghanaian to understand.He and his VP alone cannot change Ghana, all CITIZENS has a part to play.God bless Mother Ghana.
