He was able to rescue the economy from the years of serious damage caused by the NLC of Afrifa, Progress Party of Busia/Edward Akufo Addo, NRC/SMC and the PNP of Limann and others. Yaw Osafo Marfo only built HIPC toilets and sold Ghana Telecom and other prime state assets and used the proceeds to pay salaries and looted the rest!!!
