When you make a verbal request and someone demands you put it in writing, they purposely do that for record-keeping sake. That is never an implied approval. If you had any sense you'll realize that the person intends to communicate their response to you in writing.

Go and tell your "man of integrity" to go stay in one of his homes in Accra or Dubai till some arrangement is made for his state bungalow. We will not allow him to stay in the official Vice-Presidential residence.

What a bunch of gangsters. Thank God He has delivered us from their grip.

The government has no choice but to follow the laws governing the entitlements of our former presidents. We should pay him rent allowance the same as Kuffour till we're able to build him a house. He can move to his house as JAK is doing and wait for his turn. The laws doesn't give him any right to choose a house he wants.

Is there not a law that requires the prez and vice to vacate their official residence a day before a new prez and vice are sworn in? Is the prez not the same person that instituted a commission that recommended that presidents must not given houses after their service but rather 20% of their salary must be given to them to pay their house rent? What do u politicians take us for? Do u think Ghana is for only politicians? Teachers,doctors, nurses and other government workers after their long service to the state, have no ex gratia, no house and even part of their own salary that was deducted and kept as pension benefit is even sometimes messed up by u politicians. I believe, the only reason why you are advocating that the country gives a free house to Mahama as his outgoing gift is because you belong to his corrupt, heartless and uncaring regime that sought to enrich themselves at the expense of Ghanaians. George for what reason or legal basis do you think Mahama is legally entitled to choose and occupy any of the State buildings and claim it as a personal property? I assume you know the State bungalow that Mahama has hijacked was built for and supposed to be occupied by any sitting Vice-President as official residence. I think it will be in he best interest of the country for Nana to ask Mahama to move out of the Vice-President's official residence peacefully or be forced out.
