I was surprised at how dusty Ghana was when I returned home a after some 12years in the states.One may not even realize it because they become used to it.Not only is it an eye sore and destructive to our properties and infrastructure but it is also damaging to our health.We can remedy this with Concrete, Grass and Asphalt.Where we can not put asphalt or concrete sidewalk we must plant hypergrass.We cannot keep living in such dusty environment.It is not good for our health.

Every action taken by John Mahama since he was so mercilessly trashed by oppressed Ghanaians in the December elections point to only just one psychological imbalance caused by what could be termed SIPWS - Self Inflicted Power Withdrawal Syndrome. He just cannot come to terms that he is no more the president - either by default or by a stolen verdict. From signing new agreements, awarding new contracts, cutting sods for future development, commissioning uncompleted projects to appointing and hiring people in the eleventh hour to sensitive national positions - all show a man who is who is struggling to separate himself from illusions of enjoying the trappings of perpetual power and its concomitant self aggrandizement.

That house is meant to be official residence of the Vice-President, not the President. So, the state has to find him a descend place to stay. I understand, ex- presidents are entitled to a house as part of their retirement benefits, so they should provide him and his family a place to stay. He should have known better. Who was occupying that place before he and his family moved in? I guess it was Late Vice-President Alu Mahama. If he has requested to continue to live there and had been given the house,, ex. President Mahama would not have had the chance to live there. Why does he want to continue to live there with his family. This is not right. He should wait for the state to assign him his benefits including a house. There were/are so many people in Ghana who have served the nations diligently. They include teachers, nurses, doctors, and other public and civils servants but what they got after retirement is their retirement money and retirement monthly salaries. People choose to be a president, vice-president, a member of parliament, a teacher, a nurse, police officer, medical officer, banker, accountant, etc. So, I don't see why they have to give a president a house at the end of his service to the nation. After all, presidents are paid every month and they get the best working conditions and benefits while in office. This is my thoughts.
