We thank the Otumfuo for getting this impasse settled on the quiet and quickly in a dignified manner. It should dawn on everybody that the Otumfuo has used quiet diplomacy, behind the scenes and ugly noises, to impress upon Mahama to see wisdom and rescind his bad request to be allowed to keep his official state owned residence and property as his personal retirement home. Hence, Mahama copying the Otumfuo in the letter. No two ways about that.

It was very shameful for Mahama to have made that request to begin with. At this point it appears to me John Mahama had right from the very beginning always wanted to keep that house the moment he first moved into it, back in 2009. That is why he refused to move into the Jubilee House when he became president, putting Amissah Arthur in awkward position, since he being the vice couldn't have moved into Jubilee House to supplant his boss. In essence Mahama kept two residences, the Jubilee House and current house. What a greedy man.

It is indeed true. John Mahama has always been a looter, as said by Martin Amidu. What a despicable thief. Went to school free, enjoyed ex-gratia 5 times, rent free accommodation for 20years starting from when he became deputy minister for communications and now wants a state property for free on top. Was it not the same chuefs and the peace council who held the judges of the Supreme Court for over three hours to change thier verdicts on the election petition? Ghanaians should not give leaders choices but rather ask them to follow guidelines. Mahama had two houses, flag staff house and the VP house at his disposal the last 4 years which was wrong and should not have been allowed to happen.

It should dawn on you that maybe it was the Otumfuo who used quiet diplomacy, behind the scenes and ugly noises, to impress upon Mahama to see wisdom and rescind his bad request to be allowed to keep his official state owned residence and property as his personal retirement home. Hence, Mahama copying the Otumfuo in the letter. No two ways about that.

It was very shameful for Mahama to have made that request to begin with. At this point it appears to me John Mahama had right from the very beginning always wanted to keep that house the moment he first moved into it, back in 2008. That is why he refused to move into the Jubilee House when he became president, putting Amissah Arthur in awkward position, since he being the vice couldn't have moved into Jubilee House to supplant his boss. In essence Mahama kept two residences, the Jubilee House and current house. What a greedy man.

The government, intern, creates citizens that it controls. So if you ignorantly leave your status as the creator of the government to become a citizen, in legal terms, there is NO-BODY there for the government to report to. Unfortunately, all the chiefs have ignorantly reduced their legal status by becoming citizens instead of sovereigns. It is a complex subject to rap your head around but once you understand it you will know why only Otumfuor was copied. If the GA chief goes back to being a sovereign he will be copied too.

5. Osafo Marfo asked Julius when they met to put the matter in writing stating the number of the residence
6. It must be stated that the residence in question is not the official residence of the President of Ghana or the Vice-President of Ghana
7. Julius Debrah puts the matter in writing as requested
8. Akufo Addo finds himself in a multi-plagiarism scandal. The NPP decided to use that to cover their shame by telling the Ghanaians JM does not want to vacate his official residence. They later claim he wants to buy it.

However, it wasn't acceptable to grant your request since that particular facility is meant, not for Bawumia, but for vice presidents. Some of us keep wondering why you didn't move to the Flagstaff House when you became the president but rather chose to remain in the vice-presidents' facility. Next time do things more properly.
