He is a product of the London South Bank University, Emile Wolf College, London, and Institute of Professional Studies in Accra and Besease Secondary School in the Central region.

He is the Member of Parliament for the Ajumako Enyan Essiam Constituency in the Central Region of Ghana since 2009. Ajumako-Enyam-Essiam is located in the Ajumako district of the Central region. In his role as a Member of Parliament, Forson contributed to the enforcement of the constitutional obligation over the use of public funds and the operations of the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).He belongs to the National Democratic Congress and represents the Majority in parliament.

This structural flaw which was evident in the last NDC govt in the ministry of finance has really damaged the economy. It's good they are out. Accountants only know taxes as revenue and are completely at sea on how to grow the economy.

An economy growing at 3 to 4% per annum cannot be said to be poor. The economy is fundamentally strong. The unprecedented investment in infrastructural development is strengthening economic growth. Gov't borrowed heavily using oil and gas reserves as collateral. There is nothing wrong with borrowing to invest in productive ventures.

Osafo-Marfo has finally conceded that the economy is fundamentally strong. Ofori-Atta has also asserted that it is ok to borrow to invest in productive ventures. Let Bawumia acknowledge that something good has taken place in the last 4 years. Let the NPP stop the doom-mongering and build on what has been achieved over the past years.
