  By creating this ministry,are we going to have a vibrant rail system that will connect intercity travel? ......can someone be able to travel from kaneshie to circle by rail in the next 4 years? ...there's too much dependence ...

  By creating this ministry,are we going to have a vibrant rail system that will connect intercity travel? ......can someone be able to travel from kaneshie to circle by rail in the next 4 years? ...there's too much dependence on vehicles and petrol is about time Ghanaians get subway/ underground trains and surface trains etc ...so whoever is chosen to be in this ministry must start thinking and planning for a good and improved rail system....those "chuku-chaka" locomotive trains used to transport foodstuffs from the CMB and Kumasi kejetia are outmoded ...and needs to be replaced....When you tell people in Ghana you travel by train in Europe to work they look at you like you climbed Kilimanjaro to work..they just can't comprehend what rail travel means...it's about time Ghana catches up to the rest of the world (let's leave other African nations behind)..in rail travel.

  This is very great news, the railways system must be revamped to open up the country. One district one factory will need good transportation network to cart goods to and from those factories to the consumers.

  If Nana is really serious about revamping the Railways he should either invite a private investor to do it or the government entering into partnership with a private investor to do it.He should then allow the private investor ...

  If Nana is really serious about revamping the Railways he should either invite a private investor to do it or the government entering into partnership with a private investor to do it.He should then allow the private investor to run the Railways.He should never allow the present railway administration to run it or the government will not recoup the money invested in it.The Railways collapsed because it was inefficiently run.Corruption,dishonesty,inefficiency and laziness killed the Railways.The collapse of the Railways started immediately after independence and should not be allowed to be repeated if it is revamped.

  Whoever is advising Nana must be out of touch with reality. Don't tell me Ghana airways will get a new ministry soon. Government should leave the transportation sector because anything run by Ghana government is mismanaged.
