Does this man know President Kufuor has not been given a house eight years after leaving office? He is staying in his own house and Mahama should move to one of his houses in Accra. He has a house in East Legon and Ridge.

Mahama's request was a grand ploy to steal Ghana and everything is wrong with that. He should make the keys to the property he was prevented from stealing available to the Administrator General now. His stealing of Ghana's assets ends now!

Dr Asante is wrong he should address his mind to what the law says before saying what he said,there's nowhere in the recommendation that says Ghana should build a house for the former president istead it said he should be paid 40% of his salary to get his own accommodation,even if he was to be given a house it's no the one he occupies now,it was his decision to keep it by sending a request awaiting approval.After losing power he went on to do some appointments without recourse to the transition team saying there's nowhere in the law that takes his powers till the midnight of 6th January,the Npp accused him of bad faith,now he's accusing same transition team of not keeping to their words to grant him his request describing it as bad faith also.I want to state that all the house or accommodations that would be provided to this ex presidents must revert back to the state after their death,it should not be inherited by their children or family,that one no one ll ve a problem with that.Let us be mindful of how we decimate state resources to our former leaders just because they served Ghana,what about soldiers who die in line of duty including the police who get killed most of the time?we re just jokers,we use tradition to decide what polititians should take home and not what's conventional practice across the world,if a president can not build a house for himself before entering contesting for president then it mean he can steal our money.

Have you asked yourself why they did not get one for Mr Kufuor who served for two terms? How can someone who served for two terms not be served but the one who shamefully got rejected after a shambolic one term will just go about selecting properties that are meant for other senior officials?
