Alima Mahama has no mandate to sign any letter for the president.Legally and administratively, if you sign a letter on behalf of some authority, you the one who signed such document should write under your signature your full name and title.Therefore what title and position is Alima Mahama going to write?. Minister designate?. A Minister designate has no authority to sign any document until vetted and cleared by Parliament. That purported letter is therefore NULL AND VOID and should have no effect whatsoever.

They shouldn't backtrack as they they did with the alleged plagiarism issue and see if they won't be embarrassed. It appears the NDC wants to continue with their gross incompetence even in opposition! When will the NDC learn to read. The president can authorize anybody to act on his behalf before formal assumption of duty of a substantive minister!
