"According to him, it was better to have a large government which will protect the public purse than a lean government which will superintend over corruption.", How can a large Government protect the public purse? Each of those ministers are coming in with salaries, with all the freebies, fuel, accommodation, travels, vehicles, Medical attention, to mention a few. The total sum paid to each of these ministers would be huge and this would not be protecting the public purse. And by the way, we are all just talking about corruption, what is the guarantee that a large would not be corrupt? We will soon see.
